Political Science Alumni Council

The Department of Political Science and the Political Science Alumni Council are working together to raise funds for two student-centered goals:

 

1) Student Scholarships

2) Research funding opportunities.

 

The costs associated with pursuing a degree can be prohibitive to many students and have an impact on their ability to complete their degree successfully. We seek to raise money that can provide financial relief to students so that they may pursue internships, extracurricular activities, or simply be able to focus on their studies without the added stress that comes with financial insecurity.

We also currently have faculty working with students to design, conduct, and publish research, but collecting data and presenting results at conference is costly.

Your gift today is a way to make real change for our students.

Formed in 2018, the Political Science Alumni Council’s mission is to facilitate networking and build community among our alumni while helping the next generation build their resumes with mentoring, internships, and more. If you’re interested in getting involved, email amanda.leduke@louisville.edu.
